The Gray Water System

The Gray Tank Is the holding area for waste water from showers, the bathroom and kitchen sinks, etc.

On the outside where your dump valves are located, you will see 2 valves and are usually marked as Gray and Black, or another way to tell is the Gray tank valve is smaller than the Black Valve.

It’s okay to leave the gray tank valve open when connected to a sewer system.

Personally I like to leave the valve closed, and open it as needed, By doing this it keeps everything flushed out, should any solids from doing dishes gets down the drain,

Any Odors from the gray tank can be treated with the same holding tank solution used for your black tank.

When I store my unit I like to add a little holding tank chemical to all drains along with some water this keeps any smells out while stored

Keep in mind that when storing your unit and adding chemical and water that the water will evaporate over time so should you store your unit for a long period you might want to add some more water over time.
